As you embark on the journey through life
thoughts that you had
when you were
but a child,
seem to disappear with
the
fairies
of
younger years.
For when
a child your thoughts are
as
complex as a square where there
is a known
beginning and a known ending.
Yet as the
years pass, turn to centuries
you find
that your square has turned
circular
and that every step you take
you somehow
are at the beginning.
Follow the
path as straight as you may
let you
know that the child you were
is you
still, follow the truth in your heart.
Though a
rainbow is hard to catch
remember
that the pot of gold you seek
will one
day end up in your lap
and the
circle will once again be square.
